Estancia VIK José Ignacio

Sublime in every way, this chic estancia is an incredible experience. Each guest room has been decorated under the watchful eye and with original works of an Uruguayan artist. Common places are like an art gallery with massive sculptures, giant split geodes and crystals, and painted ceilings. Horseback riding (included) was the best I've ever done and was a truly free experience -- a casual ride through the fields at dusk rather than being led one behind the other on the trail. Horses are clean, exceptionally well trained, and stables well kept. Also went for an awesome kayak in the morning ($50/hr). Dinner was incredible -- we both had the octopus. We received a pre-dinner impromptu tour of the wine cellar which made it even more special. Breakfast was also terrific, and we ate outside overlooking the bucolic fields. Pool was very nice.

Everything, not to describe, heaven on earth! Everything was right! Please stay in this place, with pictures you cannot describe. The view, the pool, the breakfast, the attention of the team... everything just perfect and oh de kajak, the bike... you just take it.... Top Oh and just a few km. from the beach of Josè Ignacio... and if you want the team arrange all your lunch and diners in Josè Ignacio... but their own kitchen is fine too...

EPIC STAY! I am missing it so bad already. The staff is just brilliant and 100% make the place. The full moon ride one of the best nights of our life. The most handsome gauchos pouring wine and cooking the best damn steak sandwich of my life. 100 stars! Thank you!

You feel relaxed and calm. We was going to sleep with the fireplace bruning in front of the bed and wake up with 3 horses 10 feet in front of our room.
